Capturing What Makes Aspire so Special to our Women

This week Aspire welcomed freelance photographer Chanise Armstrong to our women only centre to capture some images for our marketing team, as well as a few to brighten up our walls.

Chanise had the challenge of recording exactly what makes our home so special to the women of Aspire in just a few pictures. She more than rose to the task, managing to find time to join in with the regular staff team meeting, visit our crèche and speak with several of our recent award winners and nominees.

Chanise also popped in to Welcome Wednesday, our casual, friendly women’s social and support group. The women attending this week had generously given us permission to capture some images of their session.

Aspire would like to express our thanks to everyone who gave up their time or allowed us to interrupt their usual activities to capture the images we needed.

They will be used to raise our profile, provide opportunities to grow our organisation and promote Aspire to new women, ensuring we can continue to offer services for a long time to come.

This visit was made possible with funding from the Media Trust as part of their Headlining Mental Health programme, a scheme offering organisations like Aspire help with their communications training and support. Victoria, our Media, Marketing and Communications Officer, has recently completed a six month professional training and development scheme as part of the programme.
