Support from Aspire

Aspire Staff and volunteers have a wealth of experience responding to the support needs of local women.

If you, i.e have a persistent sense of worry or dread, feel fearful, paranoid and tense, feel a sense of hopelessness, frequently become impatient, angry or irritable or steer clear of social situations, we have our confidential listening service providing space to talk things through whatever the reason, with a trained listener in a safe and confidential environment.

Take some time to talk, in person or over the phone.

"World Mental Health Day is coming Saturday October 10th. Since its inception back in 1992, the World Mental Health Day has been a firm date in the calendar, raising awareness and campaigning for improvement. This year's theme will be 'Mental Health for All - Greater Investment, Greater Access.'  Aspire believe in investing in all women and encouraging them to invest in themselves. With our holistic, co-produced, trauma informed approach we support women through services such as courses of learning, social and support groups and volunteering opportunities.

Mental health, especially in Covid 19, is about us all focusing on our self care and working together to support each other. With that we are proud to share our revised and updated Aspire women's support programme this WMHD 2020."   More Information
