Aspire’s friendly, women-only centre offers a variety of courses to help you learn and develop new skills, whatever your goals.
Our award-winning team will help you decide which courses are right for you and signpost you to any of our support and wellbeing services that may also benefit you.

Wild Gardening
This outdoor activity is the perfect way to put your green fingers to work, meet other women and make our garden look beautiful! From growing vegetables, building planters and planting flowers, there is something for everyone! Our Aspire garden has won the Chester-le-Street In Bloom award two years in a row due to the hard work and skill of our wonderful gardening group!

How do I access a course?
Learning opportunities come up frequently. To access these opportunities contact Aspire by email or phone.

Aspire will then contact you to take the next easy steps to complete your registration.
What courses are available?
Aspire courses (including days, times and descriptions) will appear on our social media. You can ask for course information by emailing our learning team at enquiries@aspire-northeast.co.uk or telephoning 0191 389 1504.
How many courses can I do?
There is no limit on how many courses you can do, although we do ask you think about what you will enjoy and what will benefit you most as well as the needs of other women. If you are uncertain which courses are best for you, contact our learning team.
How long do courses last?
Aspire courses last 8 to 10 weeks. Important dates will be published to our social media in advance of the course beginning.
