What have we been up to in September?
Take a look at what Aspire have been doing in September!
Aspire were pleased to attend the Stamp It Out County Durham Celebration Event! Kay spoke on behalf of Aspire about the work that our Aspire Stamp It Out ambassadors and trainers will be involved in to carry on the good work of Stamp It Out in County Durham.
Aspire staff had a team development day where they planned a bright future for Aspire!
Aspire attended the Northumbria In Bloom celebration event in which we received on behalf of Chester-le-Street Town the silver award and the best in class award for the large town category! We also gained lots of new ideas for our very own garden whilst at the celebration event!
Val and Colleen were pleased to attend the Transforming Together Event at One Strawberry Lane Newcastle. The event celebrated the impact that #TransformingTogether has made and launched the collective report ‘Meeting the unmet need for women: a networked model for shifting power and changing systems in the North East’. The Transforming Together network is a nurturing partnership with a shared purpose to address the unmet needs for women in the North East. It was a powerful day, with so many insightful reflection shared on sisterhood, collaboration, care, love, shared learning and shifted power!
We had a great time at our September Extra Social! There was some delicious home cooked food, some fun facts about National Love People Day, and an Autumn themed quiz! A good time was had by all!
